KWEM Washer/Elevator/Grinder
Fruit and vegetables are emptied into the wash basin of the KWEM Washer/Elevator/Grinder via infeed or directly with the GKE Bin Tipper. The product is washed in the basin to eliminate dirt and other particulates. With the KWEM 3000 and up models, an intensive cleaning is performed by means of a water jet circulation pump and air bubbles created by an air blower.
The now cleaned fruit is elevated and passes through a fresh water rinse on the way up the conveyor belt. The product transfers into the directly attached grinding mill to become mash that discharges directly into the dosing box of the belt press.
The small models (1000 and 2000) are delivered as a plug and play machine. Once set up in the pressing area, the machine is ready for operation. It can be easily cleaned by one person without any problems. Deflector plates in the washing basin can be disassembled easily without the need of tools.
